Our lives are a constant series of adjustments to new demands, new environments, and changes within ourselves. Challenges with adapting are especially common during late adolescence and early adulthood as we tackle some of the biggest personal developments: figuring out identity, establishing independence, and creating meaningful relationships with others.
If you've found yourself stuck, spiraling, or with mental health symptoms setting in, these feelings do not have to be permanent. Outside feedback and support can help get you back on track and thriving.
I am passionate about working alongside people as they develop into new versions of themselves, both as emerging adults facing these developmental challenges for the first time, and throughout adulthood as we revisit them again and again.
Feeling overwhelmed adapting to a change such as starting college, changing jobs, ending a relationship, or grieving a loss
Exploring questions of identity and fit, whether that's finding a solid group of friends, working through a spiritual questioning, exploring gender expression and sexuality
Wanting to improve social skills, especially for those struggling with social anxiety, perfectionism, conflict avoidance, setting boundaries, or overcoming a lack of positive relationship modeling
Managing intense or complex emotions like depression, anxiety, and grief
Surviving a traumatic event or dealing with a serious ongoing stressor that has made it hard to bounce back to life as normal
I have in person office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Telehealth appointments also available
